NEWS RELEASE Contact Barry List, Director of Communications, (443) 757-3560; (800) 4INFORMS; cell (443) 794-5182; barry.list@informs.org Gary Bennett, Director of Marketing, (443) 757-3565; (800) 4INFORMS; gary.bennett@informs.org INFORMS PUBLICATIONS OFFER NEW BENEFITS TO INSTITUTIONAL SUBSCRIBERS HANOVER, MD, April 30, 2008 - The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS(r)) today announced a series of new benefits to institutional subscribers and their patrons: NEW in 2008 - Journals Archive: INFORMS will offer in the summer of 2008 its online archival product covering journal content from 1952 to 1997. Attractive pricing will allow institutions to complete their online holdings at an affordable price. The archive includes issues from all nine scholarly journals with archival material. Watch for more information from INFORMS. Additional 2008 content: INFORMS is adding over 2,000 pages of new content across our journals in 2008 while maintaining a reasonable price per page. Articles in Advance: INFORMS now offers peer-reviewed, revised, typeset, copyedited, and author-approved articles online in advance of their appearance in print as part of a regular institutional subscription. New Institutional Subscription Policy: Coming in 2009, all current institutional subscribers will receive three additional years of content back to and including 1998 as part of the regular online subscriptions. Previously, regular institutional subscriptions covered issues from 2001 forward. Journals Suite Discount: In 2009 INFORMS will offer their entire 12-journal suite as a discounted package to institutions. Watch for more information from INFORMS. Hosting by HighWire Press: INFORMS journals are now hosted by HighWire Press, whose reputation and capability deliver INFORMS journals in the most useful and user-friendly way possible. 2009 Subscription Pricing: INFORMS plans to announce in the coming weeks only a modest, society-style increase in 2009 institutional subscription rates.
