>From a colleague at UF's Health Science Center Library: The Basic Resource for Pharmacy Education is at the AACP (American Assoc. of Colleges of Pharmacy) and is produced by the Library and Educational Resources Section. It is created and edited by librarians at institutions that serve pharmacy schools. There is more information in the introduction to the list. There are separate lists for books and journals. The link to both is at: http://www.aacp.org/site/page.asp?TRACKID=&VID=1&CID=380&DID=3619 The AACP site has been up and down over the last couple of days Rae Jesano, MSLS, AHIP Librarian Liaison to the College of Pharmacy UF Health Science Center Libraries Gainesville, FL 32610-0206 rjesano@ufl.edu John E. I have located online a list of about 120 "core" titles for institutions with a school of pharmacy. This is very helpful. My understandng is that the core list is itself a selection from a "master list," which has over 600 titles. I have not been able to locate a copy of the master list. (I don't know how the master list was compiled or with what authority.) If anyone can provide the URL for the master list or something like it, I would appreciate it. There is a follow-on question: How similar would two collections be if one were for a school of pharmacy and the other for a commercial pharmaceutical company (assuming the pharmaceutical company is a large one with a wide range of research activity)? Thank you for your assistance Joe Esposito
