Yes, you are correct. Several of my colleagues myself included, have registered. We have also discovered that not everything found in that portal is accessible for free. When attempting to retrieve some specific articles we were asked for a username and password. That was very interesting as it doesn't seem clear how to determine what will or will not be available. Another thing, it will be very important for us (librarians) to bear in mind that this is not just another venue for serving our patrons. According to the registration agreement, it is not intended to be utilized as an alternate way of procuring research articles for our patrons. Lisa S.
