Contact: Mun-Kit Chew (Mr) mkchew@wspc.com.sg Apologies for cross posting New Impact Factors for Mathematics Journals >>Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences (M3AS) The Impact Factor for M3AS has jumped from 1.208 in 2005 to 1.805 in 2006, reaching a rank of 7th out of 150 journals in the Applied Mathematics category. The purpose of this journal is to provide a medium of exchange for scientists engaged in applied sciences (physics, mathematical physics, natural, and technological sciences) where there exists a non-trivial interplay between mathematics, mathematical modelling of real systems and mathematical and computer methods oriented towards the qualitative and quantitative analysis of real physical systems. For more information, visit http://www.worldscinet.com/m3as >>Reviews in Mathematics Physics (RMP) RMP's Impact Factor has improved from 1.06 in 2005 to 1.207 in 2006! Reviews in Mathematical Physics fills the need for a review journal in the field, but also accepts original research papers of high quality. The review papers - introductory and survey papers - are of relevance not only to mathematical physicists, but also to mathematicians and theoretical physicists interested in interdisciplinary topics. In less than three decades, it has established itself as one of the leading scientific publishers in the world. Among the company's notable successes was its being awarded the exclusive rights in 1991 by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm to publish (in English) the entire series of Nobel lectures from 1971 to 1990 and to distribute them worldwide. Subsequently, World Scientific again obtained the rights to publish the complete series of Nobel lectures delivered from 1901 to 2000. Annually, World Scientific publishes 400 titles a year and 100 journals in various fields. In 1995, World Scientific co-founded the London- based Imperial College Press with London University's Imperial College. The Press publishes mainly in the fields in which Imperial College itself is particularly well-known, such as Engineering, Medicine, Information Technology, Environmental Technology, and Management Sciences. Imperial College Press has published about 500 books and 8 journals to date.
