Three of our board of directors have had extensive experience developing applications of this sort, and all three have confidence in several of the newly emerging and fully featured reviewing-and-publishing platforms. Why commercial publishers do not is inexplicable.JE: No, explicable. The marketplace--the place where people actually pay money for things they want--wants more robust platforms. The commercial publishers can be accused of many things, but stupidity when it comes to economic matters is not among them.
