- Please excuse cross-posting - The Geological Society of London would like to announce the launch of a major new online resource for the worldwide Earth science community - the Lyell Collection will be launched in May 2007 and represents the combined archive content of the Society's own journals, Special Publications and key book series. Over 14,000 original research articles and 230,000 full-text pages are included in the Collection, which will be hosted on HighWire Press. Libraries can purchase the Lyell Collection for an annual subscription charge, with trial access during the summer - the first full subscription year being 2008. Libraries subscribing in 2007 will receive full access from September. Full details are available at: www.geolsoc.org.uk/lyellcollection.
