With sincere apologies to Dr. Harnad, who has been desperately trying to get the conversation back to a serious discussion of OA through repositories, I must note that SPARC has now teamed up with freeculture.org, an organization that attempts to radically upend copyright protections by supporting acts of political theatre such as "National Barbie in a Blender Day." <http://barbieinablender.org/>. Apparently Mattel is viewed with as much disfavor as Elsevier. What a week. From pit bulls to people who whirl top-heavy plastic supermodels in blenders...
