ALCTS -- the Association for Library Collections & Technical
Services -- is sponsoring Digiblog, a blog created initially in
conjunction with the ALCTS Midwinter Symposium (2007), as a forum
for dialogue on the critical issues facing our profession.

What do you think about digital preservation - is it a misnomer?
What about the future of collection development - will it be
vastly different in five years time than it is now? How can we
prepare ourselves for =93the next big thing=94 or are we resigned to
being blind-sided by new technologies?

You are invited to participate in discussions with colleagues on
