I rather agree, specifically publishers should intensify their efforts to identify more market-responsive pricing models that recognise that the insignificant marginal cost of electronic distribution provides them with an opportunity to price along a price curve and therefore meet the needs of a much larger segment of the market. However that was not what we were setting out to investigate in this study.
