RE: Blackwell Announces High Growth in Impact Factor

Hi Ginny, Great, thanks for that. Those figures weren't in the
original press release and that is what confused me! Obvious
testament to your efforts to improve quality and your success in
adding new titles to your lists (which, I guess, helps increase
both number of papers published and citations received).

Best wishes

David

David,

In response to your question about Blackwell's recent press
release, the number of citations received by those Blackwell
titles listed in the JCR has increased by 13.0 % (145,631
citations) since JCR 2004, compared to an overall increase across
the JCR as a whole of 6.9 % (1,505,090 citations). Blackwell
titles now account for 5.4% of all citations.

In addition, Blackwell received the largest share of citations in
20 subject areas in 2005. Please feel free to email me with any
additional questions at vfoley@bos.blackwellpublishing.com.
