Some licenses prohibit libraries from sending copies of articles via electronic means such as Ariel. My question is for the libraries that receive those items. Can those articles be scanned and made available online to the requestor via ILLiad or similar ILL management utility? The license should apply only to the lending library, and the receiving library may not know the particulars of the lending library's license terms. I looked into the LibLicense archives and could not find this topic addressed already. Anna ----------------------------------- Anna L.
