Phil Davis,
Do you have any updated information - hopefully improvements in ethical practices - arising from your Ethics of Republishing work?
For anyone new to the list, links to Phil's studies showing how some subscription-based publishers have republished articles to fill up journals are available from Phil's publications page, at: http://people.cornell.edu/pages/pmd8/
Or, if there is anyone from the publishing community with updated information on how publishers have addressed this information, that would be most helpful as well.
