Dear Ann, Please post the following message on behalf of Karger Publishers. Thanks very much! Sharon Mattern Buettiker, Web Alliance Manager S. Karger AG ____ We are aware that there were some problems with the COUNTER-compliant usage reports of Karger AG. We are now pleased to announce that these discrepancies have been remedied to the satisfaction of COUNTER and Karger usage statistics comply with the COUNTER Code of Practice. The problems were with the 'Totals' for all journals, which included non-subscribed journal usage and resulted in a sum that was greater than the sum of the usage statistics for the individual journals listed. We are satisfied that the misunderstanding which lead to this discrepancy has been cleared. Sincerely, Sharon Mattern Buettiker, Web Alliance Manager S.
