*Of possible interest* *Apologies for cross-posting* 2006 JCO Rates The Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), published by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Alexandria, VA, has announced its 2006 subscription rates. For 2006, JCO is continuing its tiered subscription structure, whereby institutional type determines the subscription rate. No matter the tier, institution-wide access to JCO will be included with a print subscription. JCO is also increasing the number of text pages in 2006 to 8,000, up 25% from 2005. The additional pages are a result of tremendous success in attracting some of the most prestigious and high-impact papers published in oncology. Click on the following link to see 2006 prices and to find your tier: http://www.jco.org/subscriptions/JCO_institution_subscribers_2006.shtml JCO Leaves Ovid: In 2006 JCO will no longer be part of the Journals@Ovid catalog. If you receive JCO through Ovid, we invite you to order directly through ASCO or your subscription agent. As a result, your institution will have access to the entire array of features offered through our HighWire-hosted site: www.JCO.org. JCO Legacy Archive Now Available: JCO is pleased to announce the launch of the JCO Legacy Archive*online back issues of JCO from Volume 1, Number 1 (January 1983) through Volume 16, Number 12 (December 1998). The back issues are available as full text PDFs at: http://www.jco.org/contents-by-date.0.shtml Back issues from January 1999 through the present are part of JCO's ongoing subscription program and are made available free to the public 12 months after publication. For a one-time fee, institutions may now complete their electronic JCO holdings and provide patrons with access to the entire record of JCO research. Athens Authentication Instituted for JCO: JCO has added an Athens authentication point to www.JCO.org. If you are a current Athens organization, you may register your username and password on JCO at the JCO sign-in page: http://www.jco.org/cgi/login?uri=3D%2F If you wish to become an Athens organization, Athens will set up a free, three-month trial account for you. Simply complete and return the form at http://www.athensams.net. Gary Bennett JCO Marketing Manager American Society of Clinical Oncology Alexandria, VA ####
