David Goodman asked a couple of questions about Google Print and publishers. There are actually two Google Print programs. With Google Print's Program for Publishers they are working with books with the permission of publishers. Since publishers must sign up with Google for the project, they don't have a problem with this. See: https://print.google.com/publisher/ It's the Google Print for Libraries project that some publishers have a problem with. Google presently has no plans to seek publisher permissions to index books. See: http://www.print.google.com/googleprint/library.html Google has also provided information for publishers about the Google Print for Libraries program: http://www.print.google.com/googleprint/publisher_library.html Bernie Sloan
