Project MUSE News: Discussion Groups At ACRL

PROJECT MUSE HOSTS DISCUSSION GROUPS AT ACRL

MUSE is conducting discussion groups with librarians at the ACRL
Conference in Minneapolis. These activities will take place at the
Doubletree Hotel. We will also be happy to answer your questions and give
you a demo of what's new on MUSE at the Project MUSE booth, #429.

To register for any of the activities detailed below, please e-mail
ebrown@jhu.edu with your name, professional title, address, phone number,
email address, and the activities in which you are interested in
participating, including which dates and time slots.

1) Development of MUSE Content
Friday, April 8, 5:15-6:45 p.m. (light meal served)

MUSE seeks librarians who deal with collection development and selection
of materials to give feedback about how MUSE should continue to develop
its content. Participants will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate.
Space is limited.

2) Future of MUSE Functionality -- Discussion with Full Collection Subscribers
Saturday, April 9, 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. (lunch served)

Reference and instruction librarians are invited to give their input about
the features and functionality of the MUSE database. Participants will
receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate. Space is limited.

3) Discussion with Undergraduate Collection Subscribers -- Future Development of MUSE
Saturday, April 9, 3:15-4:30 p.m. (refreshments served)

MUSE is seeking Undergraduate Collection subscribers to give their input
about how MUSE can best serve the needs of "partial subscribers." Will
discuss MUSE functionality as well as collection development. Participants will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate. Space is
limited.
