Goodbye IngentaSelect - W/C April 4th 2005

Dear Colleagues

Within the next couple of weeks we will be completing the final work
required to retire IngentaSelect and move all users over to our new site
IngentaConnect.  We anticipate that this will happen during the week of
April 4th.

We are delighted to be approaching the culmination of the considerable
engineering and development effort which has preceded the launch of
IngentaConnect. We now have a much more flexible and robust platform
delivering content from over 280 international publishers, and the new
interface has received much praise for its design and ease of use since
its launch in November 2004.

Once again we would like to stress that there will be no need for any
action on your part when IngentaSelect is retired.  All IngentaSelect
pages will automatically redirect to the equivalent page on
IngentaConnect, and all registration, login and subscription information
has already been transferred to the new site.  If you wish to add new
title-level links to your library catalogue or web pages please use the
following syntax: www.ingentaconnect.com/content/<ISSN>

If you have already used IngentaConnect, or if your institution previously
had an Ingenta.com registration, your IngentaSelect and Ingenta.com
accounts have been merged into a single IngentaConnect account.  You can
manage your institutional profile by signing on from the IngentaConnect
homepage with your IngentaConnnect/Ingenta.com Administrator username and
password.

If you have not used IngentaConnect or Ingenta.com in the past your
registration details have been transferred from IngentaSelect and can be
managed by signing in from the IngentaConnect homepage with your CID and
Manager Password.
