ALCTS Acquisitions Section, Acquisitions Organization and Management Committee is offering a preconference on electronic resources management. This program is designed to be of interest to serials, collection development, acquisitions, electronic resources and acquisitions librarians or anyone else charged with managing electronic products and subscriptions. Friday, June 24, 2005, 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm Electronic Resources Management Systems: Opening a Can of ERMS (Afternoon Only) History and issues of electronic resources management; a market overview of existing and developing products; reports from libraries that have implemented a system, migrating from an in-house system to a commercial one, and using a product in parallel with a different ILS.
