Dear Michael, Here is the feedback from Novo Nordisk: 1. Yes, there definitely is an interest and we would be willing to pay for it (but how much?). 2. Although we have switched to online only for many journals we would need to be convinced that e-access is 100% reliable before considering it for BMJ. 3. We would definitely prefer to have access direct from the journals' websites. 4. You might consider a pay-per-view option (where we could prepay for a number of articles) for people who are not ready to commit to a large up-front archive investment. It would be helpful if you could let us know: 1. Is this of interest? Might you be willing to pay for it? 2. When the full archive is available online would you be more likely to switch to electronic only access? 3. Would you prefer to host the back archive yourself or have perpetual access via the journals? web sites? 4. Any other important aspects from a library point of view that we should consider? You comments and suggestions would be appreciated. Please reply to me either via the list or directly to mbutterfield@bmjgoup.com.
