Please excuse cross-posting The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, a not-for-profit publisher, is pleased to announce our 2005 price list is available online. Please visit http://www.jhc.org/ and click on subscriptions. As we have in the past, the Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry will continue to offer subscribers the opportunity to purchase the Journal as a print-plus-online subscription, online-only subscription or a print-only subscription. There is one price for the Journal. The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry is the official journal of the Histochemistry Society and publishes papers that report the development of new histochemical and cytochemical methods, significant modifications of existing techniques, or original research in which histochemical and cytochemical methods make a significant contribution. Stanford University Libraries' HighWire Press assists in the publication of the Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry online. Affiliation with HighWire allows the Journal to offer our subscribers the highest quality service in all areas of online publication and particularly in access and search capabilities. Following are recent changes and additions to the Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry. --Redesigned homepage with clearer interface and enhanced search functions added to the homepage and throughout the website. --Free access to the Journal now includes content that is twelve months or older. --Open Access Archiving of all content prior to the last twelve months. The Journal is in the process of digitizing all content prior to 1997 and including everything back to 1953 (Volume One, includes content from 1950-1953). The Journal views this content in the same way as content that is twelve months or older. It will be Open Access to everyone. --Participation in the HINARI project of the World Health Organization, which distributes journals for free to developing countries. --Online submission and peer review --Secure online sites for easy renewal process and payment, The Histochemical Society website: http://www.hcs.org and the HighWire Shop for Journals site: http://highwire.stanford.edu/tfocus/ where you may browse the many journals available through HighWire. --The Journal will begin publishing ahead of print by the end of 2004.
