National University Library has been asked to provide services for our extension program students. Provided our IT department can make these students inactive once they are no longer part of the National University system, we are willing to provide these students with access to our electronic resources while they are enrolled in classes. We were wondering how other campuses are handling extension or continuing education students. Are they considered authorized users of the library's electronic resources? If so, do they have a significant impact on the use of your library's resources in terms of increased FTE, reference staff time, and usage statistics?
