The Wharton School's Business Journal Knowledge@Wharton Announces Launch of Universia Knowledge@Wharton New Research Portal Will Reach Spanish and Portuguese Speaking Readers Knowledge@Wharton (http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu), the online research and business analysis journal of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, has launched a new Web site in collaboration with Universia.net called Universia Knowledge@Wharton. The new site, which is published in both Spanish and Portuguese, enables Knowledge@Wharton to reach Spanish and Portuguese speaking readers around the world. Universia.net is the largest university web portal with 635 member universities in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Universia Knowledge@Wharton (http://wharton.universia.net) is the result of an agreement between Knowledge@Wharton and Universia.net to distribute business and education content from Wharton School as well as from Universia.net's partner institutions. It is supported by Universia.net and Banco Santander Central Hispano. The site provides articles and research papers in its database from existing Knowledge@Wharton content as well as articles uniquely created for the collaboration. Knowledge@Wharton captures knowledge generated at Wharton School through such channels as research papers, conferences, books, and interviews with faculty on current business topics, and distributes that knowledge online to a global business audience. The site is free and can be accessed at . The launch of Universia Knowledge@Wharton was announced at a ceremony in Madrid, Spain, which was attended by Wharton Dean Patrick Harker and Emilio Botin, chairman of Banco Santander Central Hispano. Felipe Vergara, managing partner of Magma Learning, served as an advisor for the collaboration. "The Wharton School is pleased to collaborate with Universia.net to disseminate the research and business knowledge created by its faculty to a larger worldwide audience," stated Dean Harker. "Making this vital information accessible and useful to executives, scholars and students around the world is central to our educational mission to advance global business practice."
