Please excuse cross-posting. AIP has digitized an additional seven years of published research (1968-1974) and added this new online content to the extended backfiles for the following journals: Applied Physics Letters Journal of Applied Physics The Journal of Chemical Physics Journal of Mathematical Physics Physics of Fluids Physics of Plasmas Review of Scientific Instruments All 2004 subscriptions to these journals include a five-year backfile (1999-2003). Libraries have the option to add the full 31-year backfile (1968-1998) for a small additional charge. The extended backfile is automatically included with AIP Archival, AIP Combination, and AIP All package subscriptions. AIP expects to extend the backfile to the first issue of each journal by 2005. (Another AIP journal, Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, already includes a complete online archive going back to its first issue in 1991.) Please visit http://www.aip.org/journal_catalog/institutions.html for additional information, including prices. AIP also welcomes the opportunity to speak with you personally at the upcoming ALA Midwinter conference. Please visit us at booth #1159. Thank you, and Happy New Year, Christine Orr Marketing Manager American Institute of Physics Melville NY USA corr@aip.org
