Following up on Chuck Hamaker's comments about Brian Crawford's article in Lancet: Inexplicably, Crawford leaves out some very important questions about Open Acess. Will Open Access cause massive outbreaks of bestiality? Will Open Access turn mankind into cannibal zombies? Will Open Access turn neutrons gay? As Chuck points out, publishers like strawmen. I don't know how the three above were missed. -- Mark Funk Head, Collection Development Weill Cornell Medical Library 1300 York Avenue New York, NY 10021 212-746-6073 mefunk@mail.med.cornell.edu
