Journal of Palliative Medicine, published bimonthly in print

educational, legal, and ethical aspects of care for seriously ill and
dying patients. It includes coverage of the latest developments in drug
and non-drug treatments for patients with life-threatening diseases
including cancer, AIDS, cardiac disease, pulmonary, neurologic,
respiratory conditions, and other diseases. The Journal reports on the
development of palliative care programs around the United States and the
world, and on innovation in palliative care education.

"We are delighted to provide open access this month to the
Journal archives, which provide a broad spectrum of practical clinical
information and research findings in palliative medicine and end-of-life
care,” says David E. Weissman, M.D., editor of Journal of Palliative
Medicine, and Palliative Care Program Director in the Division of
Neoplastic Diseases at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

books, which provide a comprehensive self-study course in hospice and
palliative care. The Innovations in End-of-Life Care: Practical Strategies
& International Perspectives series is a three-volume complication of
cutting-edge strategies for improving quality of care for patients and
their families through life's final transition.
