Liblicense readers:

For the record, the California Digital Library has never issued any press
releases about its negotiations with any publisher except for joint press
releases at the conclusion of agreements.  The correspondence to which Mr.  
Menefee refers must be an October 20, 2003 posting by Ann Okerson to
liblicense transmitting a letter from University of California San
Francisco faculty members to their colleagues and friends.
