I think Dewey is mostly used in a lot of school libraries. Don't know if this has changed, but if my memory is right, when I worked at the University of New Mexico Zimmerman Library, 25+ years ago, the older part of the collection was in Dewey and the newer part, after some cutoff date, was in LC.
