Suzanne Grefsheim, Director Division of Library Services/OD/NIH Electronic Resources Manager/Supervisory Cataloger - The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Library in Bethesda, Maryland, seeks an experienced Librarian with a track record of innovation and leadership in managing electronic and print collections. S/he must have a strong commitment to user service and be willing to work in an entrepreneurial, cost-recovery environment. Demonstrated knowledge of issues and trends in managing electronic resources such as research databases, full-text resources, e-journals, e-books is required as is the ability to conduct analytical studies to aid in selection and retention decisions. Must be willing to work as a member of a team in an environment that fosters learning, collaboration and teamwork. In addition to serving as the primary cataloger of print, electronic and special format materials for a biomedical research collection, the incumbent will maintain an electronic resources management database; coordinate the selection and acquisition of electronic resources; and formulate, recommend and implement cataloging policies and practices for electronic resources to assure easy access to these resources. Salary range is $58,070 to $75,492 with promotion potential to a salary range of $69,054 to $89,774.
