The International Journal of Geomechanics, previously published by CRC Press has been acquired by the American Society of Civil Engineers and will now be added to library subscriptions for the ASCE "All Journals" package. ASCE acquired the journal in March and will publish volume 3, the current year's volume, as two double issues, one in September and one in December. The journal will also be available in an online format, as with other ASCE journals. IJOG covers various interdisciplinary topics in geomechanics with emphasis on computational methods, constitutive models, laboratory and field testing, and related practical applications. It is intended for engineers and researchers interested in a wide variety of topics, including soil and rock mechanics, statics and dynamics of interacting structures and foundations, natural hazards, petroleum engineering, infrastructure and pavement engineering, geological engineering, and ice mechanics. Editor-in-chief: C.S. Desai, Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, the University of Arizona, Tucson. Print ISSN: 1532-3641 For further details contact wfarnam@asce.org.
