The Open Archives Initiative: application and exploitation
Wednesday 14 May 2003

Both library- and publisher-lead case studies will be presented, including
projects from the JISC FAIR (Focus on Access to Institutional Resources)
programme such as SHERPA (Securing a Hybrid Environment for Research
Preservation and Access), Project RoMEO (Rights MEtadata for Open
archiving) and the DAEDALUS (Data providers for Academic E-content and the
Disclosure of Assets for Learning, Understanding and Scholarship) Project.
A collaborative project between a publisher, IoPP (Institute of Physics
Publishing), and the RDN (Resource Discovery Network) hub, PSIgate, will
be discussed, and the European project, FIGARO, will describe an
