A collaborative project between a publisher, IoPP (Institute of Physics Publishing), and the RDN (Resource Discovery Network) hub, PSIgate, will be discussed, and the European project, FIGARO, will describe an infrastructure for academic e-publishing in Europe. The Open Citation Project will be covered and a journal publisher's perspective will be presented from Emerald.
