Dear Madam, Could you please send this e-mail to the liblicense discussion list? Thank you very much. Yours sincerely, Elizabeth Denton denton@enssib.fr ___ Dear all, I am studying at ENSSIB in Lyons (the French national post-graduate school for librarians). I am working with other librarians on a project to study the organisation of off-campus access to data-bases and other electronic publications held by a university library in Paris. Although we have already read quite a lot about what has already been done abroad on similar projects, we would like to know more about your own experience of this - that is, if you have been involved in any such project. We should be most grateful if you could answer the following questions. Thank you very much for all your help, Elizabeth Denton denton@enssib.fr 1. Why did you decide in the first place to make this off-campus access available to your readers? Was it part of a broader library or university project ? 2. Did you begin your work by assessing your readers' needs? How was that done in practice ? 3. How did you determine how many readers would be able to make use of the service? How many are there approximately actually using the service ? 4. What conclusions did you draw from this project? (Please tell me about the positive aspects as well as any possible negative factors) 5. Do you think this new service changed readers' habits and / or opinion of the library ? ---
