PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR MUSE STUDIES AT ACRL CONFERENCE Participate in a Muse discussion group or usability study, and receive a free gift certificate! Project Muse=AE is looking for volunteers to participate in a series of discussion groups and usability studies at the upcoming ACRL Conference. These activities will take place at the Hilton Charlotte, right across the street from the convention center. Help us continue to improve the functionality of our online journals collection and to meet the needs of library subscribers. Use the URL at the end of this message to sign up! Discussion Groups Muse seeks academic librarians who work with users and electronic resources, particularly in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, to participate in a series of discussion group meetings. Participants in a discussion group will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate. The following times are available: Friday, April 11th, 12:30-1:50 p.m. (light lunch served) Saturday, April 12th, 3:15-4:30 p.m. (refreshments served) Saturday, April 12th, 6-7:15 p.m. (light meal served--to tide you over until the reception!) Usability Studies Muse also seeks academic librarians who deal with electronic resources in general to take part in a usability study. Usability study volunteers will receive a $20 Amazon.com gift certificate. Light refreshments will be served. Indicate any possible 1.5-hour time slots within one of the following time ranges: Friday, April 11th, 9 a.m.-noon Friday, April 12th, 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, April 12th, 9 a.m.-noon Short Surveys at the Muse Booth #541 If you are unable to participate in the discussion groups or usability study, you can still give us your valuable feedback in the Project Muse booth at the exhibits. Short surveys will be available to all visitors to the booth. All survey-takers will be entered in a raffle for a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate, so stop by and see us!
