Announcement:  ALA Preconference on Digital Reference in Toronto in
conjunction with the American Library Association/Canadian Library
Association annual conference.

Digital Reference @ Your Library II : Directions and Opportunities Friday,
June 20, 2003 from 8:00 am � 5:00 pm

Learn how to plan, build, and improve your library's digital reference
service to remote users from expert practitioners drawn from all types of
libraries.  Sessions will focus on projects and programs in collaboration,
marketing, training and assessment, and evaluation. We will also look into
the future of digital reference. Poster sessions will highlight best
practices and product demos will allow first hand exploration of digital
reference software.

Speakers include: David Tyckoson (Keynote), Franceen Gaudet, Diane
Granfield, Buff Hirko, Kathleen Kern, Christine Koontz, Susan McGlamery,

Sara Weissman and Jessamyn West
