This is to inform readers of this list that there will be a meeting to discuss E-resource management metadata Friday 6/14 at ALA. Like the prior meeting held at ALA Midwinter, it is being sponsored by the ALCTS Technical Services Directors of Large Research Libraries Discussion Group -- whose support is (once more) gratefully acknowledged. Meeting Agenda: Time and Place: Friday, June 14th, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Georgia World Congress Center, room B304. Meeting Agenda: 1. Welcome, introductions and goals. (Tim Jewell) 2. Brief development reports on local E-resource management systems. (All) 3. Reports from the May 10th NISO/DLF Workshop on Standards for Electronic Resource Management (Tim Jewell; Nathan Robertson; Sharon Farb; Ivy Anderson) --> See http://www.library.cornell.edu/cts/elicensestudy/nisodlf/home.htm for summary notes, PowerPoint slides and handouts from the workshop. 4. Draft strategy for developing functional specifications and promoting relevant standards. (Tim Jewell) 5.
