ANNOUNCEMENT 2nd Workshop on the Open Archives Initiative (OAI): "Gaining independence with e-prints archives and OAI" LIBER, SPARC-Europe and the CERN Library are organizing this workshop at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland) on 17-19 October 2002. This workshop will guide individuals and institutions interested in pursuing open-access solutions for scholarly communication initiatives through the process of conceiving, implementing and maintaining an e-print archive or OAI-compliant repository.
