License for Thesaurus Linguae Graecae

I have to eat a large plate of crow for inaccurate information I sent to
this list. We did negotiate a license that I THOUGHT was acceptable for
our institution with the TLG. It may indeed be acceptable for other
institutions that will permit an indemnity clause with the modifier
"except where prohibited by local law" ( or wording to that effect). It is
not, however, acceptable for our state university and may not be for
others.

I am currently working again with the TLG, hoping that we can still
produce a license that will satisfy both of us.

I apologize if the misinformation I sent out a couple of weeks ago caused
any trouble or difficulties for any list subscribers.
