Hello I'll like to understand how the copyright payment (pay-as-you-use) works for academic institutions in the US. What are US libraries experiences with CCC or AAP? If copying is within the legal limits or under fair use, is payment required? If materials are used for coursepack, who normally pays for the copyright, the Library, Faculty or staff? Does copyright payment include both print and electronic? Greatly appreciate if someone could enlighten me. Thanks.
