This is a reminder that applications close at the end of this month for the ALPSP Awards. There are six awards (five of them new) and all publishers (and, where appropriate, non-publishers) are eligible. Three of the awards are for publications: one for a peer-reviewed learned journal, one for a house/membership journal, and one for publishing innovation. Three are for individuals: one for service to library/publisher relations, one for service to not-for-profit publishing, and one for service to ALPSP itself. The winners will be announced, and framed certificates presented, at the first ALPSP Annual Dinner in London on 12 September - it should be quite an occasion! Full details, and application forms, can be found on the ALPSP Website (www.alpsp.org - they are linked directly from 'what's new?' on the home page). Please do apply, and pass on the information to anyone else who you think might be interested. Looking forward to receiving your application(s)!
