Thank you for everyone's responses. It is comforting to know that I am not the only one who losing hair over online journals. Most people suggest that I try and get a user name and password to be used by one librarian, so that we can get these articles. As an immediate solution, it was suggested that we or the patron contact the author for a copy of the article. A more permanent solution is to get the word out to authors and editors within your institution that if they publish in e-pages in journals that restrict e-pages to subscribers, their articles are not getting the readership that they should or would expect.
