First of all thanks to everyone who replied to me on this subject - I am now clearer as to what is probably meant by it. But I have just received the following message from the vendors: 'As a result of your question, we have been reviewing the agreement and would like you to know that we don't have a problem removing the "and certify" from the clause if this is an issue for you.' YESSSSSSSSSSSS!
