A belated suggestion in response to this request. You could examine the wording used in the model licences drafted in the UK (drafted for journals, but easy enough to adapt): "On termination of this Licence for any cause other than breach by the Licensee, [the Licensee shall be entitled to retain/the Publisher shall supply a copy of/the Publisher shall continue to provide access to] all Licensed materials made available prior to the date of termination." You'll find a regularly updated listing of model licences and related licensing initiatives at www.alpsp.org/licensing.htm Sally Morris, Secretary-General Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers South House, The Street, Clapham, Worthing, West Sussex BN13 3UU, UK Phone: 01903 871686 Fax: 01903 871457 E-mail: sec-gen@alpsp.org ALPSP Website http://www.alpsp.org Learned Publishing is now online, free of charge, at www.learned-publishing.org ----- Original Message ----- From: "Selden Durgom Lamoureux" <lamours@email.unc.edu> To: <liblicense-l@lists.yale.edu> Sent: 27 March 2001 00:44 Subject: Electronic Monographs > > I'm looking for language to add to licenses for web-based, one-time > purchases (a large single payment, small or no yearly access fees.).
