Hello, I'm interested in learning more about e-books and their limitations, terms -of-use, etc. for a project I'm doing on introducing a new media into a library. My concern is: how can you monitor the length of time a book is used (can a trial expiry date be entered so the file becomes defunct at a particular time?) and can more than one patron take the book out at a time or does it need to be monitored? I am also looking for some copyright info. It seems somewhat vague. Has there actually been some ammendements made to the Copyright Act re ebooks? Any help on this or even a pointer in the right direction would be really helpful! Sincerely, Sue Evans Student, Library Technician Program Langara College Vancouver, B.C.
