Re: An interruption (Re: Re[2]: Science Online model and Princeton)

The American Mathematical Society discusses its positive flow of
publishing income in an editorial, "Spending (Non-)Profits," NOTICES OF
THE AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY, Nov 1998, p. 1317.  Other nonprofit
societies should take note of AMS's intentions to reduce expenditures AND
prices on subscriptions, dues, and meeting registrations.
