Colleagues in the US will be interested to hear that that a model licence 
drawn up by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and the 
Publishers Association is now available from the UK Serials Group Web Site:

Background information

Over the last 12 months the Joint Information Systems Committee and the
Publishers Associations have established several working parties to examine
various issue areas of "customised publishing".  

The working parties addressed the following areas (in the context of
activities in an electronic environment):
	
	Clearance Mechanisms 
	Fair Dealing 
	Licencing Arrangements
	Archiving
