Call for ALCTS Program and Pre-Conf Proposals for ALA Annual 2012

The ALCTS Program Committee invites program and pre-conference 
proposals for ALA Annual 2012 in Anaheim, California. The dates 
of the 2012 conference are June 21-26.

If you're interested in planning a pre-conference or program, 
please complete the appropriate web form (see below) and be 
prepared to visit with the Program Committee during ALA Annual 
2011 in New Orleans.  Appointments with the committee usually 
take about 15 minutes.

The committee and ALCTS staff will help refine your ideas and 
coordinate logistics.  You don't need to have all the details 
when you initially fill out the proposal form or visit the 
committee to pitch your idea.  And although programs or 
pre-conferences often originate with ALCTS sections or interest 
groups, they can also come from individuals or other groups.

Beginning in 2012, ALCTS plans to offer in-person and virtual 
pre-conferences.  (A virtual pre-conference would likely consist 
of a series of 3-4 webinars in the weeks leading up to the Annual 
Conference.)  If you are interested in planning a virtual 
pre-conference, please indicate this in the "Additional 
Information" section of the proposal form.
