NEWS ABOUT ASCE JOURNALS FOR 2011

*The ASCE Library (http://www.ascelibrary.org) contains 50,000
journal articles and 27,000 proceedings articles - more than
650,000 pages of content. Online access to the ASCE Library is

(2) ASCE Online Proceedings; and (3) Journals & Proceedings
Complete Collection.

*The 2011 ALL Journals subscription contains 33 journals,
including the new Journal of Nanomechanics and Micromechanics.

*Access to the entire digital archive is included in
institutional online subscriptions. This includes journal
articles from 1983 to the present, and proceedings papers from
2001 to the present with select titles as far back as 1996.

*ARCHIVE POLICY: ASCE is committed to the long-term preservation
of its digital journal content and has arranged for secure
archiving with Portico and CLOCKSS to ensure that its 33 journals
are preserved and available for future scholars, researchers, and
students. The archival record will include the back issues of all
ASCE Journals currently available at http://www.ascelibrary.org.
Institutions may request post-cancellation electronic files on
DVD for a nominal fee for the period during which an online
subscription was held.

*ASCE Journals' IMPACT FACTORS rank high and continue to grow
steadily according to the 2009 Journal Citation Reports. Ten of
ASCE's 23 indexed journals ranked in the top 25 across a variety
of engineering categories. Nearly two-thirds of its journals
showed an average increase of 28% in the impact factors. The
continued increases in ASCE Journals' impact factors over the
past 5 years reflect ASCE's commitment to publishing
high-quality, highly relevant civil engineering content.

*Preview Manuscripts ensures immediate access to the latest civil
engineering research by making articles available electronically
within 72 hours of acceptance, months before the final,
copyedited version appears in print.
