Three UCP Journals named to "most influential" list

*With apologies for cross-posting*

Three University of Chicago Press Journals are listed among the
Special Library Association's "100 Most Influential Journals in
Biology and Medicine over the past 100 years."

The American Naturalist, Clinical Infectious Diseases and The
International Journal of Plant Sciences each made the list,
compiled as part of the SLA's Centennial Celebration. Candidates
were chosen by nine subject experts from the SLA's Biomedical and
Life Sciences Division (DBIO). The 680-plus members of the DBIO
voted on the final list of 100.

"We congratulate these three publications on being named among
the most influential, and for their years of service to their
disciplines," said Everett Conner, journals manager at the Press.
"We're very proud to make such quality research available to
scholars in biology and medicine."
