David Bull, Publishing Director, Journals, of Palgrave Macmillan,
said: "We are delighted to work in partnership with these
societies. We believe that the quality of their publications and
their editorial processes, allied to our global journals
publishing infrastructure and outreach, will now enable these
notable titles to prosper yet further."

Business Economics is a leading refereed periodical, now in its
forty-third year. It provides practical information for those who
apply economics in their jobs and is a notable forum for debating
solutions to key business issues and best- practice applied
economic models and techniques. Business Economics was previously
self-published in print and published online by Springer.

Ellen Hughes-Cromwick, President of NABE said, "For more than
four decades, Business Economics has provided NABE members,
economists, and businesspeople around the world with an important
vehicle for their ideas, analysis, and information. We are very
pleased to announce our partnership with Palgrave Macmillan, and
we know that Business Economics can only benefit from its
extensive publishing expertise."

The European Journal of Development Research is one of the
leading international development research journals and has been
published since 1989. EJDR was previously published by Taylor &
Francis.

Rajneesh Narula, Editor-in-Chief, said, "Palgrave Macmillan is
the optimum partner to bring the journal to the next level: our
new publishers share our enthusiasm and passion for academic
excellence, and optimism for the journal's future. I am very
pleased about this decision, and look forward to moving the EJDR
into the top five development journals."

Thomas Lawo, Executive Secretary of EADI, said, "Partnering with
Palgrave Macmillan opens a new chapter in the publication and
communication strategy of EADI. Aiming for highest standards of
research and analysis in development and area studies, we count
on the EJDR and its new publisher to take us to the next level. A
stronger European voice is needed in the policy debate at
national, regional and global levels, and EADI, in co-operation
with Palgrave Macmillan, will continue to be a passionate
contributor to this debate."

OR Insight is a quarterly periodical, now in its twenty-first
year. Its aim is to provide an interesting and stimulating
publication which appeals not only to management science
practitioners, but also to managers wishing to learn more about
operational research (OR). OR Insight was previously self
published.

Gavin Blackett, General Manager of The OR Society, said, "We're
absolutely delighted with this deal with Palgrave Macmillan.
Their involvement will enable us to spread the word about OR in
practice to all corners of the globe. We'll all be working
incredibly hard to meet the ambitious plans we've put in place."
