Publishing for Impact
A Conference for Mission-driven Non-profit Book Publishers
2007: Reaching Readers Across Boundaries

June 4 - 6, 2007 -- The Westin Grand -- Washington, DC

Publishing for Impact is the only event of its kind that speaks
specifically to the concerns of non-profit publishers. During
this three-day event leaders from throughout the non-profit
publishing community will consider new ways of reaching diverse
audiences - discussing rapid advances in electronic publishing,
the Print-on-Demand industry, data presentation, and the nuances
of publishing translations.

Publishing for Impact 2007's plenary, small group, and networking
sessions will offer ample opportunity to enjoy and learn during
the event, and to return to your professional settings with a
greater strategic understanding of - and innovative practical
applications to - your work.

This conference will benefit anyone involved in non-profit book
publishing and similar mission-driven environments. Past
participants have come from the publishing departments of
international organizations, bilateral development agencies,
non-governmental organizations, associations and societies, and
university presses, whose working environments and business
models differ markedly from those of commercial publishers.
