Connecting with Buyers and Users in the Digital Marketplace

 	Select any or all from this suite of four stand-out 
sessions spanning a range of current topics with appeal for 
publishers, librarians, marketing staff, online channel managers, 
authors, and others. Join your colleagues as our panels of 
nationally recognized experts present in-depth and lively 
discussion on a variety of issues.

 	Monday, Nov. 13 -- Understanding Researchers: A Focus 
Group for STM Publishers (full-day seminar). Seven scientists 
will discuss how researchers think about STM publishing and use 
scholarly journals.

 	Tuesday, Nov. 14 -- The Business of Digital Books: What 
Are Publishers Offering? What Are Buyers Buying? (full-day 
seminar). Production directors, marketing managers, and pundits 
will survey the evolving business of digital book publishing.

 	Wednesday, Nov. 15 (morning) -- What Works in Archiving? 
Case Studies for Technology, Maintenance, Business Models, and 
More (half-day seminar). How will librarians and publishers 
divide and conquer the responsibilities for archiving today and 
tomorrow?

 	Wednesday, Nov. 15 (afternoon) -- Library Cancellation 
Decisions: A View from Inside the Library (half-day seminar; 
organized in cooperation with the Association of Research 
Libraries). Spend the afternoon with librarians to understand how 
they make critical decisions about keeping (and eliminating!) 
serials subscriptions.
